The fine print, kept friendly

Privacy Policy

Effective July 8, 2026

Puzzle Pines keeps things simple: we collect as little as possible, we never sell your information, and everything we do collect exists to get puzzles to you.

What we collect, and why

  • Newsletter and contact forms. If you join the newsletter or send a message, we receive what you type: your email address, and for the contact form your name and message. Forms are processed by Netlify, our website host. We use this only to reply and to send the emails you asked for, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Purchases. PDF checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. They process your payment details; we never see or store your card number. Paperback purchases happen on Amazon and are governed by Amazon's own policies.
  • Analytics. We use Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that uses no cookies and collects no personal information. We see aggregate numbers like "how many people visited today", never who you are.

Cookies

We don't use tracking cookies or advertising pixels. There is no account system and nothing follows you around the web.

Who we share data with

Only the service providers that make the store work: Netlify (hosting and forms), Plausible (cookie-free analytics), and Lemon Squeezy (payments). We never sell or rent your information to anyone.

Children

Our kids' books are bought by grown-ups. The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Your choices

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. If you'd like us to delete a message you've sent or an email address you've shared, contact us and we'll take care of it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
